Patriots Park, Hobgood Park & Sequoyah Park

UNDER CONSTRUCTION - Featuring Cherokee County's flagship Adaptive Use Field, ADA Playground, Pawtriots Park Dog Park, walking trail and much more, Patriots Park is a beautiful new park under construction located near Bells Ferry Road in Cherokee County, Georgia. Located on 30+ acres of rolling terrain featuring beautiful vistas overlooking the wooded creekside. Grassed slopes provide unique vantages points for spectators to watch baseball games. Residents from Acworth and Canton and Woodstock can come enjoy the custom designed Adaptive Use Field, featuring a safe and versatile synthetic surface perfect for Miracle League Baseball games and other ADA accessible sporting leagues. Adjoining the Adaptive Use Field is a sprawling ADA Playground and landscaped play area for kids.

The two dog parks, known as Pawtriots Park, provide room for pet owners to play and explore with their pets. Featuring unique agility play stations designed from re-purposed construction materials, this unique spot is a must see.

An 8' wide concrete multi-use trail meanders through the park providing views of the action and quieter sections through the woods. Extensive wooded portions of the site are conserved to protect the creek and provide buffers to adjacent lands. Throughout the park, various engineered stormwater management and water quality treatment areas help to filter and absorb runoff from the park. Features include bio-retention ponds, enhanced swales, raingardens, dry stream beds, micro-pool, filter strips and grass channels all help to naturally convey stormwater and infiltrate rainwater back into the soil.
