We are honored to discover that Smith Planning Group was selected as The University of Georgia Alumni Association released the 2017 Bulldog 100. This annual program recognizes the fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni. More than 500 nominations were submitted for the 2017 list.
"The Bulldog 100 Celebration is one of the most important events on UGA's calendar, and it is an inspiring way to kick off the New Year," said Meredith Gurley Johnson, UGA's executive director of alumni relations. "The excitement is palpable during this event and I always leave invigorated by the caliber of those in attendance. They are living examples of the quality of a UGA education."

It was a beautiful and windy day for the ground breaking ceremony for Patriots Park, Cherokee County's newest park featuring adaptive-use field, baseball fields, playground, dog park, trails and much more. County commissioners and members of the community were on hand to celebrate the beginning of construction of the park.
Patriots Park will feature an adaptive use field designed for use by the Miracle League Association and other sports leagues for handicapped and disabled children.
